What Happened
The Croft School's South End location was built to be something rare. A school where more than one-third of families receive financial aid, where every kind of family belongs, and where every child is known by name. When the school fell into financial distress, all of that was at risk of disappearing.
But parents refused to let that happen.
A group of families came together, formed South End Village Academy, and set up a registered nonprofit. We have a board. We have a plan. What we need now is funding to keep teachers in classrooms and our children learning.

Who's Behind This
South End Village Academy was formed by parents. People with kids in the school who decided to fight for it. We're a registered nonprofit with a volunteer board, and every one of us has skin in the game: our children.
